Update 1.5

Steam Update 1.5 Now Live | Teaser Trailer (September 16) says Update 1.5 is OUT NOW. Content includes the licensed Bell UH-1 Iroquois ‘Huey’, M14, Type 56 SKS, launch-weapon balancing, helicopter and Commander/map work, and 100+ fixes from the Full Changelog. Community Feedback #4 had retargeted FSR 4.1 from Update 1.5 to Patch 1.6. FSR 4.1 then shipped in Hotfix 1.5.2. The Patch 1.6 live notes do not mention FSR 4.1. Patch 1.6 (October 7, 2026) is the later live build.

When is Hell Let Loose: Vietnam Update 1.5?

Update 1.5 is OUT NOW. Steam published Update 1.5 Now Live | Teaser Trailer on September 16. The earlier Full Changelog used Launching 16 September / almost here wording before that live post.

Are the M14 and SKS available now?

They are part of Update 1.5, which Steam says is OUT NOW. Confirm your storefront shows 1.5 installed before treating them as available. The Full Changelog lists M14 and Type 56 SKS for Squad Leader, Rifleman, Specialist and Engineer at level 3.

Are Khe Sanh and Rung Sat launch maps?

No. Khe Sanh is announced for Update 2.0 and Rung Sat for Update 3.0. The current launch map directory remains the six day-one battlefields.

When will Battalions release?

The roadmap confirms the Battalions system and describes its first-version goals, but it does not assign a release date or update number.
