Your first match, without the guesswork

Learn the match flow, choose a low-pressure role and communicate the few things your squad actually needs.

Squad members receiving a battlefield briefing

Before joining a server

Use a microphone when possible, allow enough time to finish a match, and enter with the expectation that information matters more than individual kills.

Read the spawn network

Start with your squad, check the active sector and avoid creating a long walk that separates you from the objective and your team.

Choose a forgiving first role

Begin with Rifleman or another role your Officer requests. Leave scarce specialist kits available until you understand their responsibility.

Make short, useful calls

Say what you saw, where you saw it and whether it is moving. Keep the channel clear after the information is understood.
