OFFICIAL ISSUE TRACKER
Low FPS, stutter or performance spikes
The developer says performance can be limited by different GPU, CPU and server bottlenecks, so one universal settings preset cannot guarantee a result.
OFFICIAL POSITION
What the developer says
Official performance notes describe continuing work across rendering, networking, memory, client and server systems. Supported PC hardware can use TSR or DLSS, while Hardware Lumen is intended only for systems with substantial GPU headroom.
MATCH THE SYMPTOM
Use this page when
- Frame-rate drops during intense combat
- Stutter while crossing large areas
- Performance spike when opening a map or changing scene
REVERSIBLE CHECKS FIRST
What to do
- 01
Install the current game build and graphics driver, then restart before measuring.
- 02
Test in the same map, server population and scene so changes are comparable.
- 03
On supported hardware, compare native resolution with TSR or DLSS Quality rather than changing many settings at once.
- 04
Disable Hardware Lumen unless the GPU has enough headroom for its additional load.
- 05
Use Frame Generation only when the base frame rate is already smooth; the official guidance warns that low base frame rates can increase input latency.
- 06
Record average behavior, the exact drop scenario and whether changing resolution affects the result.
IMPORTANT LIMITS
Before changing more
- Do not publish an exact FPS promise without hardware, driver, build, map and test-scene data.
- Very low utilization can still reflect a CPU, server or frame-pacing bottleneck rather than unused performance that one graphics option can unlock.
